Melanie Lewis

Hey, my name is Melanie Lewis. I'm 17 years old, in the 12th grade, and attend LoveJoy Academy. I live in Venice, Illinois with my mother; and yes she's a single parent and I love and thank her for taking care of me all my life until I depart from this earth. I have a lot of family, but half of them are out of town. I think if it wasn't for my mother my family wouldn't deal with each other at all. Enough about them. Throughout school, I've been a trouble maker, but as I got older I changed my bad ways and got myself together. I make A's and B's in school and I'm very proud of myself. I only have one year of school left, and I already have plans to go to college, but I have so many career choices that are hard to choose from. Here's a list of some things I would like to be and do: lawyer, nurse, detective, counselor, archaeologist, and an actress. So right now I don't really know what I want to do for real. Oops, almost forgot to tell you what I like to do. I like to dance, chill with friends, " GO SHOPPING," rap, sing, and spend time with my mother who I love so much. My name is Chilonda La Che' Walker. I'm 17 years old in the eleventh grade at Lovejoy High School. I live with my mother , we have an ok type of relationship. My plans in life are to complete high school ,and then go off to the Navy and work as an Forensic Scientist/Private Investigator . Right now I have been studying the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Batter) test; and later during the summer, I plan to start to take swimming lessons.

Hi my name is Adrianna, and I am 17 years old. I attend Lovejoy High School where I stand as a junior. I have a family of 10: 3 step sister's, 2 brother's, my step auntie and her son, my mom and step dad, and of course me. I live in a 6 bedroom home in Saint Louis, Mo. Hello, my name is Shanika Johnson. I attend Lovejoy Technology Acadamy, and I've attended this school mostly all my life. I'm a very positive person most of the time, unless someone aggrevates me. I'm a junior getting ready to become a senior. My future goal in life is to become a lawyer. If not th,at a nurse or do construction work. I am very talented and creative and love to draw and create things. My favorite hobbies are reading, drawing, shopping and playing basketball. I also enjoy watching lifetime movies mostly on weekends though. My favorite color is green and has been since I was young. In my spare time I like to read or listen to music. These things keep me motivated. Other things I like to do in life would be going to the movies and cleaning up around the house. Well, thats pretty much it for now.

THERE AGE'S ARE 21,20,18,17 AND MY NEPHEW IS 3 YEARS OLD AND BAD AS EVER. MY MOTHER IS A VERY RESPECTFUL AND INTELLIGENT INDEPENDENT WOMAN. MY DAD IS INCARCERATED BUT HE DO WHAT HE CAN. NOW I HAVE A STEP FATHER AND HE BEEN THERE FOR ME AND OUR FAMILY FOR A WHILE NOW. HE DOES ALOT FOR US. AND I THANK GOD EVERY NIGHT FOR HIM. WHEN I GRADUATED FOR HIGH SCHOOL I PLAN TO GO TO COLLEGE AND TAKE UP NURSING. THE COLLEGE I WILL ATTEND IS HARRIS STOWE STATE UNIVERSITY. I HAVE A FOUR YEAR SHOLARSHIP TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL.
